After being sintered in the kiln, clinkers are cooled and then conveyed to the pre-grinder. They are then fed, via the metering feeder, to the roller press. The clinker particles preliminarily milled here are fed to the finishing mill, and finely powdered before being fed to the separator. The pre-grinder is a vertical roller mill that crushes a mixture of clinkers and gypsum between the rotary table and three rollers being pressed to the same.
A clinker is typically a block of diameter approximately 200 mm. To finish it into cement, it must be crushed into particles of diameter approximately 17 to 20 mm. The pre-grinder is additionally installed in the upstream process of the tube or ball mill, which is currently used for the cement finishing process.

The feed size for the cement mill should be less than 25 mm The raw materials are fed into their respective hoppers with the help of belt conveyor. The material from discharge hopper is then conveyed into the clinker grinding mill for fine grinding. The whole production line is operated smoothly and produce high quality cement materials.
